Golden Venture folding is the Chinese art of modular origami. This art form gets its name from the ship, ‘Golden Venture’ which crashed off the coast of America. The ship was carrying illegal Chinese immigrants who occupied themselves with craft, one of which was Chinese modular folding, during detention. Golden Venture folding uses small triangular units that are inserted one on top of the other to build sculptures.
